Common Questions

Here are some common questions we often hear from our clients.

Yes, we offer Telecom & Cloud Environment assessments taking a subset of your environment through a full review process providing results and recommendations.

Yes, we offer engagements to include the full scope of your environment, results, and recommendations

Yes, and more than that. We work through a broad ecosystem of partners, including multiple Technology Service Distributors as well as direct‑to‑supplier relationships. This flexibility allows us to engage in the way that best fits each customer’s needs, preferences, and objectives.

Regardless of the model, our role remains the same: we act as a trusted advisor and customer advocate first focused on delivering the right solution, not pushing a specific provider.

We believe in being transparent about our business model while keeping the focus on what matters most delivering the right outcome for our customers.

Depending on the engagement, we may be compensated in one or more of the following ways:

  • Partner‑supported model: In many cases, we receive a residual from our Technology Service Distributor based on the supplier contract a customer chooses to sign. This does not change the customer’s pricing and allows us to remain engaged throughout the lifecycle of the service.
  • Professional services fees: For advisory, design, implementation, or ongoing support engagements, we may be paid directly by the customer through clearly defined services fees.
  • Value‑added reseller (VAR) model: In some scenarios, we act as a VAR, providing solutions through wholesale supplier agreements that include our markup—bundled with expertise, support, and accountability. We have deep relationships with hundreds of manufactures. For us, this is not a race to bottom and if you are looking for most valued partnered, we’d appreciate the opportunity.

Regardless of the model, our approach is consistent: we are customer advocates first. Our recommendations are driven by business requirements and long‑term success, not by a preferred compensation structure.

We work with organizations of all sizes, from single‑location businesses to complex, multi‑site enterprises, across a wide range of industries. Our approach scales based on your operational needs, growth plans, and technical complexity.

We are provider‑agnostic. Our broad partner ecosystem allows us to evaluate options across the market and recommend solutions based on performance, availability, and business requirements, not provider preference.

We start by understanding your business objectives, application needs, risk tolerance, and budget. From there, we design and compare solutions, clearly outlining tradeoffs so you can make an informed decision with confidence.

Absolutely. We design connectivity solutions that prioritize uptime and resilience, including diverse carriers, access types, and architectures tailored to your risk profile and operational needs.

We bring market visibility, technical expertise, and ongoing advocacy that most providers can’t offer across competitors. Our role is to simplify the process, reduce risk, and ensure the solution aligns with your long‑term business goals.

Yes. We regularly help customers assess current environments, identify improvement opportunities, and plan for renewals or changes, often uncovering better performance, cost alignment, or resiliency options.

It starts with a conversation. We’ll review your current environment, understand your priorities, and outline next steps, whether that’s validation of an existing solution or exploration of new options.

No, not in the traditional sense of the term. Today, we work with several established aggregators as part of our partner ecosystem. This approach allows us to streamline access to suppliers, simplify onboarding, and make transitions to an aggregator model seamless for our customers.

We then take on the role of governing the relationship—helping manage billing alignment, coordination, and ongoing support, so customers benefit from the efficiencies of an aggregator without added complexity. As always, our focus is on delivering a smooth experience and acting as a long‑term customer advocate.

Yes. In certain engagements, we can rebill your technology ecosystem through a single monthly invoice issued by Ascend. This allows for simplified billing while keeping your underlying carrier contracts and supplier relationships fully intact. The goal is to reduce administrative complexity without disrupting existing agreements or service structures.
